If there’s one food you need to experience when you come to the Lowcountry, it’s oysters. You’re in luck! There’s a great way to try all the oysters you want. Plan to be in Hilton Head on Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th for the Hilton Head Oyster Festival. Here’s everything we can tell you about the weekend’s excitement, happening at the Shelter Cove Community Park.

Friday Night, Nov. 8

5 pm – 8 pm

Tickets: $20 and up.

Your ticket buys you all you can eat steamed oysters, pulled pork, chili, and plenty of other tasty fare provided by Roy’s Place Catering. Beverages (from Southern Eagle and Carolina Tasting Room) are a separate charge. In addition to food, come to enjoy live entertainment, a wine pull, or take your food to the football viewing area if you want to watch the game instead.

Saturday, Nov. 9

11 am – 5 pm

Tickets (Saturday): $7 adults

Tickets (Friday & Saturday): $40

Saturday’s cuisine features fried and stewed oysters as well as plenty of other options to please everyone. More live entertainment will keep you amused, along with the kid zone and marshmallow roasting for the younger crowd, and plenty of vendor shopping through the day as well.

*Proceeds benefit the Carmines Family Recreation Scholarship Fund at Hilton Head Island Recreation Center.

*Event is rain or shine.

*Veterans free with ID on Saturday!

*Several combination tickets available for discounted prices.

*No pets, please.
