Autumn is a beautiful time to come visit Hilton Head. Most of the summer crowds have gone, but the warm sunshine has not! The only question is, how should you spend your time when you aren’t lounging on the beach? There are several fall festivals in Hilton Head that will keep you occupied. Among them…

Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival

September 21, 2pm – 5pm

We all know that part of the reason you’re coming to Hilton Head is because of their reputation for great seafood. Might as well get your money’s worth by sampling all the shrimp you can from the local participating restaurants. You’ll also get to enjoy live music, while the kids can get their faces painted and bounce around the bouncy house. (Tickets required. Kids under 8, free!)

Harbour Town Fall Fest

September 23, 11am – 6pm

Harbour Town is the place to be to feel the pulse of the Island. With some of the town’s finest shopping and eateries, a normal day in Harbour Town is amazing. But add in some great deals, concerts, sea-themed activities (for adults as well as kids), and water sports, makes this festival a can’t-miss fall event.

Italian Heritage Festival

October 26, 11am – 4pm

You don’t have to be Italian to enjoy this cultural celebration at the Coastal Discovery Museum. Food, contests, entertainment will abound along with the good times and plentiful smiles. (Tickets required.)

Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival

November 1-3, check for times

One of the most famous attractions of Hilton Head is this classic car event. It’s a must-see destination for any motorhead. More than 200 cars will show and compete for the honor Best in Show at the Port Royal Golf Club. (Tickets required.)
