As the renter you are responsible for any item(s) you rent and by doing so you agree to the following terms and conditions:

This is a contract for rental only and not for sale. The renter has inspected all rental item(s), found them to be in good mechanical condition and shall return said equipment in the same condition. The renter shall be financially responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged rental item(s).  The renter acknowledges that the lessor (Riding Tigers Bike Rentals) shall not be held liable for any accidents or injuries caused directly or indirectly from the use of said rental item(s). Bicycles are not to be ridden in any salt water. Locks are required to be used during any period where the bikes are not ridden.

Salt Water: The salt water from the ocean and estuaries is very harmful to any bicycle.  Even though almost all of our bikes now feature lightweight aluminum frames, the components such as the chain, gears, bearings, etc can be damaged by the salt water. There is a $25 charge per bike for riding in the saltwater  PLEASE DON’T RIDE IN THE SALT WATER!

Bike Theft: Nearly 100% of all bike thefts are preventable.  With the number of rental bikes on the island these days bike theft is inevitable.  However, if you keep the bike(s) locked at all times when not in use you can prevent theft.  If you do not receive bike locks with your bike order please call us immediately.  Normally we deliver 1 lock for every two bikes.  The replacement cost for a lost/stolen bike is generally $300 each.  PLEASE KEEP YOUR BIKE(S) LOCKED WHEN NOT IN USE!

Cancellations:  We understand that sometimes plans change.  Therefore, orders may be cancelled 24 hours or more prior to the delivery date at no charge.  If you placed your order via our online ordering system at aaaridingtigers.com, any cancellations once the order has been submitted can receive a 90% refund (full refund less 10% administrative & processing fees as long as cancellation occurs at least 24 hours in advance of the delivery). If you wish to cancel an order less than 24 hours prior to the delivery date, regardless of how you placed your order (either called in order or placed order online), a $25 cancellation fee will be incurred. We cannot give any refunds once rentals have been loaded onto trucks and left the warehouse, or once the delivery of your order has taken place.

State of Emergency Policy: If a state of emergency is declared for evacuation due to hurricane or for any other extenuating circumstance, please be advised that all bikes/items will be retrieved and placed back in our possession for security purposes and may be with or without prior notification. There would be no refunds due to circumstances beyond our control.

Bike Delivery Times: Delivery times are not guaranteed. If you should require a specific time frame for bikes to arrive, please call our office to make a request. If you would like your bikes delivered prior to 10:00 a.m., we suggest ordering delivery a day prior to the arrival date. Please know that we make every effort to deliver bikes in a timely, efficient and safe manner and will get your items to you as soon as is possible.

Bike Pick-Up Times: Pick-Ups are done in the morning. If you require a later pick-up, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. However, it may not always be possible due to inventory requirements.

Bike Delivery Locations: We deliver on Hilton Head Island only.

Credit Cards: We do not accept American Express. Please use Visa, MasterCard or Discover only. Thank you!
